This notice explains what personal data Boost It Junior collects when you use boostitjunior.in, contact us or message us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it in mind.
Who we are
Boost It Junior is a digital marketing agency based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. For anything about your personal data, email junior@boostitjunior.in or call or WhatsApp +91 89188 79354.
What we collect, and why
- Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and your message. We use them to reply to your enquiry and to discuss the work you asked about.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp: your contact details and what you send us, for the same purpose. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) also processes the conversation under its own terms.
- Analytics: the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser and your approximate location, collected through Google Analytics, and how you move around a page, collected through Microsoft Clarity. We use this to see which pages are useful and to fix problems, not to identify you.
- Server logs: your IP address, browser and the pages you request, recorded by our hosting provider for security and performance.
Please don’t send patient records or other health information through the form or by message. We don’t need them to reply to an enquiry.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your data with your consent, or for the purpose you gave it to us for when you contacted us, as the DPDP Act allows. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew.
Who else handles your data
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf:
- Hostinger: website hosting and the tools that run on it.
- Google: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Fonts, and Gmail, where enquiries are delivered.
- Microsoft: Clarity analytics.
- Meta: WhatsApp, if you message us there.
Some of these providers store data outside India. We don’t sell or rent personal data, and we share it with anyone else only when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and messages only as long as we need them to reply and to handle any work that follows, then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them. Contact form entries are emailed to us and are not stored in the website’s database. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity keep data for limited periods set by those services and our account settings.
Cookies
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies to recognise repeat visits, and the website uses a few cookies it needs to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without analytics cookies. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us:
- for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- to correct, complete or update it;
- to erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- to let someone you nominate exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
You can also raise a grievance with us about how we handle your data. Email junior@boostitjunior.in and we will respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is meant for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, access to enquiries is limited to the people who need them, and we use established providers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
